Product Review: St Tropez Self Tan

I have used the St Tropez line for a fake tan for a couple of years now. I was first exposed to it when the spa I was working at part time during university started carrying some of their products. The aestheticians as the spa were in awe of how natural it looked, how quick drying it was and how easy it was. At the time, I was content with my fair skin tone and didn’t think too much about it.

About a year later I was trying a self tanning spray and I wasn’t loving the results. It was a less expensive brand, which happened to leave blotchy areas and stippled looking skin. I wanted to look effortlessly bronzed for a Christmas party and decided to splurge and order St Tropez’s tanning mousse and mitt. I had continued to hear wonderful things about it on YouTube so I was pretty anxious to try it when it arrived.
Low and behold, when I tried it I was blown away by how easy it was, how clean my hands were, how it didn’t streak… The list just goes on. This product has a greenish tint to it, so I didn’t turn orange at all. I had what my mother refers to as a healthy glow.
Now in the winter months when I feel that my skin is looking a little ghostly, I put on a nice light layer of the tanning mouse. I continue to love the results to the point where I look forward to not putting on makeup but letting my light tan take over.
This product has won awards such as Allure Magazine’s Readers Choice in 2013, and rightfully so. It’s a great product.
I suggest you give this a try if you are out looking for an easy to use tanning product. A bottle also goes a long way. I am on my second bottle and it has been just over two years.
