March Favorites

What a month it has been! European trip, birthday, work, fundraising… The list goes on! Let’s take a look at my favourites for this past month.

Favourite Food: oooooh boy! So many amazing options for this one. I am going to go with something that I had never heard of before my trip but was blown away by: Pork Knuckle. I had this amazing German food at the Hofbrauhaus in Munich. It was phenomenal and if anyone is going there, they need to try it. Yum yum yum!!

Favourite Book: I read two books this month and neither of them really blew me away… But if I had to chose between the two, I would have to pick Gone Girl.

Favourite Place: of all the places I have been this month, my favourite would have to be Paris. I got to use my French, see so many beautiful things, do things I have been dreaming about since I was a little girl and eat one of the best crêpes I have ever had.

Favourite dessert: Those who were on the trip with me would probably laugh about here and say melon because that’s what I was served almost every night while they got to eat things like Black Forest Cake, chocolate mousse and all those amazing treats… However! I am going to put the giant pistachio macaron from Amsterdam down as the winner. Oh baby was that ever good!

Favourite skin care item: Hands down, my Keihl’s avocado under eye cream. The texture of my skin is completely different in that area and my makeup now sits beautifully there.

Favourite Song: I have not heard this song here at home but it was our tour song with Contiki: Footprints (feat. Cruickshank) by Tiësto. It has been in my head pretty much nonstop!

Favourite Makeup Item: Going to go with my Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz here! Been loving how much better I feel about a look once I am done my brows.

Favourite Recipe: although I am determined to make a mind blowing pasta sauce, I’m going to have to go with the Artichoke Spinach Dip recipe that I posted last week. Maybe next month it will be an Italian dish!
