Something kind of funny happened this evening…. I totally thought that I grabbed an unopened container of mango body scrub from my cupboard but it ended up being bath melt. At first I was cursing myself for failing to pay enough attention, but then I realized that I had plenty of time for a bath!
Let me just say, what a great decision! I feel rested, calm and collected afterwards.
Anyways, back to the topic at hand: while opening the container, I found myself looking at liquid gold. This deep honey color is beautiful and luxurious. Also, the subtle floral smell that comes off of it is soothing and adds to the luxurious feeling. The Body Shop claims that the honey used in this product is the honey from wildflowers. If the scent is any indication, I would say that this is true.
I poured enough of the melt to fill the lid of the container and let the running water flow over it. The bubbles that came to fruition were dense, luscious, plentiful. I felt as though I was in bath time heaven! I stayed in the tub quite a while and the bubbles were still going strong when I drained the tub. This bath melt get a 5 out of 5 from me and I think there will be more baths in my near future.
Right now, you can get your own Honeymania Bubble Bath Melt from the Body Shop’s website for $7.50 (normally $12.00) and ebates.ca users also get an additional 8% back. Not a bad deal if I do say so myself!
That’s it for me! I hope that everyone is enjoying their weekend 🙂
