My bags are packed, toes are painted and electronics are charged. My passport is at the ready and I have checked in for my flights.
I am not sure that I’ll be able to sleep tonight but i will certainly try.
Reality sunk in that I am going yesterday when i woke up. My stomach was a ball of nerves and the panic sunk in. Had I packed everything? Did I remember to pack enough socks and underwear? What will be open at the airport for my 6 a.m. flight? What if I get hungry?
My mind always races with a million questions when I am nervous. This certainly has been no exception! I don’t speak Greek, how will I get to where I need to go? Will my French and English get me by? So many questions!
The excitement is starting to mix with my nerves, sending me into a goofy mood. Even my coworkers pointed out that they can tell that I am excited.
When I got home from work I started a cleaning frenzy. Laundry, dishes, cleaning out the fridge, washing the floor… I don’t want to come home to a mess! Plus, nice clean sheets will be amazing to return to.
I hope to post again once I reach Athens. If my hotel has WiFi then we’ll be in luck. If not, you’ll hear from me once I find it.
I also plan to snap as much as possible. If you would like to follow in the adventure, feel free to follow me over there at lovelylittlest
